🚀 🚀 Exciting Updates to the Lynx Experience: New Features, Bug Fixes & More

TL;DR Summary – Users can now create action reports, create their own user filters, see dates and times in their preferred format and enjoy new options for tracking equipment.

Hello Lynx Users,

We’re thrilled to share the latest updates and improvements to Lynx that enhance your experience on the platform. Below, you’ll find details on new features, resolved issues, and guidance for getting the most out of Lynx's latest tools.

LYNX VERSION 4.5.1

New Features

Chat State for Ruby AI

Ruby AI is now your personal assistant for community, health and safety, or environmental data. The new feature includes:

  • Continuity of Conversations: Instead of starting from scratch every time, Ruby AI keeps context from earlier questions. This makes it easier to refine queries, ask follow-ups, and dig deeper without re-explaining.

  • Smarter Insights: With chat state, Ruby AI doesn’t just answer questions — it builds a running dialogue. This helps uncover patterns and insights across complex datasets that static dashboards can’t reveal.

  • Efficiency Gains: Teams save time by working in a true conversation flow. Regulatory reporting, community updates, or safety reviews can now be developed iteratively in one ongoing exchange.

  • Human-Like Interaction: Chat state makes Ruby AI feel more like a trusted team member, capable of remembering what you asked yesterday and expanding on it today.

Drag and Drop Functionality in Documents

Users now have the ability to drag and drop files to upload for global documents and the entity-attachment component (for all other entities). Documents is used to “index” documents for reference inside Ruby AI.

Add Folders in Global Documents

Now Documents can be grouped into folders for better organization and reference in Ruby AI.

Actions Can Now Carry Confidential Attachments

Attachments can be confidential on Events, only available for users with the correct permission to view them. Now Actions has the same functionality, useful for corrective actions in health and safety that might have personally identifiable information involved.

Ruby Monitoring AI now have Attributable Sources

Ruby Monitoring AI will now display the attributable sources that went into creating her response to your queries. These sources, Documents and Events alike appear at the bottom of the response window.

Resolved Issues

Bugs were corrected for the following issues:

  • Linked Events removed from Event Form

  • Fixed the tag dialog which wasn’t closing on Event Forms

  • Nav bar was displaying incorrectly for some users, this was fixed.

Special Instructions and Reminders How to upgrade - you should receive the update automatically. If you do not receive the update, go to Settings -> About -> Check for Updates
